The Aqua Ambassador program educated and activated the children of our country, encouraging them to become ‘Aqua Ambassadors’ in their homes and community. Each Aqua Ambassador must bring about water conservation in their own homes and at least 5 neighbouring homes. With regular ‘water audits’, children would identify problems and offer solutions to minimize water wastage and bring about awareness about water conservation in the neighbourhood. Reports of the audit were regularly submitted by the ambassadors to their school teachers to measure the impact of the program.
